Aloe Vera Fresh

YESTERDAY I WROTE out a long post because I was in a funny mood but I don't think any of y'all want to read it anyhow. I was a "bit hyper". Wondering why people kept turning to gawp at me in Sainsbury's; I think it's becaus I was clicking my fingers and singing. Then the girl at customer services seemed to be flirting with me over my Nectar Card application. I'm in that supermarket several times per week, when I'm not in Morrisons and if I'd collected points every time I'd probably have enough credit by now to buy a Ferrari. I'm not sure their loyalty card scheme involves sports cars, but if it did, I'd have one.

I spoke to my family in the middle of the night but I kept changing the subject and mentioning irrelevant things. Of course I only realized this once they'd escaped my lips. This is a mild form of the phenomenon known as "flight of ideas". When it's mild you may realize you're doing it, even if you do only cotton on after the fact. When it's extreme your speech is all over the place and all I remember (from last year) is how frustrated I was not to be able to make even a simple point without losing it in a flurry of other ideas. The man in the nuthouse said I kept "derailing topic". Anyway I just felt paranoid that I sounded like I was high on drugs. I was high all right, but not on drugs. Then my quetiapine kicked in (so I was on a drug) but I just felt hyped up and dizzy all together and still didn't sleep till it was light outside. I woke in the late afternoon acheing all over and exhausted.

On a happy note, my dysfunctional toilet no longer reeks of open sewerage. I invested in more thick bleach so my bathroom smells like a swimming pool again.

There isn't much to blog today. Judge Judy is on and I'm running out of laundry liquid. I rotate flavours of all cleaning products, so next time I'm going for purple or blue, and I'm so excited about that. Well nothing else is exciting me. My mood has flattened out. From hyped up - high - paranoid and just plain moody to drizzly and misty. Just like the weather. And that reminds me to take the drenched pair of jeans off the line and rewash 'em.

Is it true Americans usually tumble-dry their clothes all the year round? Over here most peole use radiators in winter and washing lines all summer long. nearly everyone has some kind of line in their garden. I think it was Lime who pointed out this crucial cultural difference. Also I heard that when they go picnicking, most Americans would use paper cups and plates, whereas Europeans go for reusable plastic ~ or just take their normal cups and plates out with them. Oh ~ it's so much more glamorous over here. We drink real champagne from real "flutes" to a backdrop of ancient ruins and stately palaces.

Bloody hell it must be a boring day if I'm prattling on stuff like this. Maybe I should have posted up replicas of my long-dead little hammies instead.

I hope you all are having a REALLY EXCITING WEEKEND ooo!
And don't go too crazy over the laundry detergent...

...purple? blue? I ended up with GREEN washing liquid ~ full of aloe vera (whatever that's for). I had an aloe vera cactus all throughout childhood and never knew what it was called...

Personally, I'm a blue lenor addict. I get through two large bottles (of concentrate) a week and OD every wash with it.
Both of my lads' form teachers used to say that they (the lads) had no need to answer the register; he could smell when they were in the room.
I do alternate my bleach and flash flavours though for a bit of excitement. I prefer the citrus flavours really, I chuck bleach down the loo at least twice a day.
Enough said. Much love x

Hello Gleds! How are things across the water? To comment on your part about us Americans tumble drying ourclothes all year round and about the picnics, which by the way I thought was quite funny lol. Yes we deff always tumble dry our clothes. Honestly I am 29 and as far back as I remember in my childhood and as I became older and got my own places and did my own wash I have never dried my clothes on a hang line. Now I do have several article of clotheing that is not ok to put in the dryer or they will either shrink or itll ruin the fabric or something of that nature so when I wash thoe sorts of items I usually put them on hangers and hang them on the shower curtain rod and let them air dry in the house. Actually the mobile home park I live in actually does not allow anyone to have a clothes line of any kind in their yard. Its even in our residents lease book. I am kinda curious why you guys choose to hang your clothes rather then tumble dry? To me any of the clothes I do have to hang dry in the bathroom always seem to be not as fresh to me and not as soft feeling. Do you guys just choose not to use your dryers or do you guys actually not have many homes that actually have dryers? As far as picnics go I personally use different tyoes of eating and serving utensils depending on the type of picnic I am having. If I am just having a casual picnic like with the kids at the park or by the lake or even in our bakc yard I always just use paper plates, plastic cups, and plastic silver ware and the meal is always just as disposable i.e. sandwiches, fruit cups, bags of chips, etc. If my picnic is more of a romantic ordeal I will make everything a lot more fancy and use real stuff to serve and eat from. I actually have a really neat picnic set that includes a large wicker style picnic basket thats lines with the iconic red and white checker fabric and it has little compartments and specialy placed straps and such to hold all of the glass plates, bowels, tumbler glasses and champaine glasses, real silver ware, clothe napkins, as well as glass containers with rubber lids for packing your food in and the come with some special kinda wrap that can either retain heat or keep cold and they each have real serving utensils as well. Now I deff do not pack sandwiches and other quick kinds of food in that special picnic. I usually prepare one of my husbands favorite meals ahead of time and pack it up in the special containers that can keep whats posed to be hot hot and cold cold and we have a very romantic elegant "picnic" dinner usually down at the nice parl along the river and have the beautiful city light up around us and across the river and the reflection on the water is awesome and its so romantic watching the river boats go by and the hourse carriages go by. Now idk if other americans get so into their picnics as I do but I do know most of the people I know that have picnic usually do just what you said and jsut use paper plates and all disposable eating and serving utensils and most donet even pack it up like a real picnic in a basket or anything they just use plastic bags to carry the stuff lol. BUt thats the American way I guess you can say. Every thing fast and disposable so they can always be on te go. Most americans are always in a rush and rarely take the time to slow down and just enjoy the moment of the situation and the beauty of the things your experiencing around you. Even I admit I am guilty of this about half of the time.

I have an Aloe Vera plant on my kitchen windowsill, it's fantastic for healing burns, I seem to get a lot of oven burns. ;)

BUGERLUGS: my friend Valium Marilyn's house reeks of fabric softener too. I tried dosing the roughest towel I own in it an hour before washing but it didn't really seem to work. Next time I'm soaking my towels in a pound shop blue softener-water mixture all morning... see if that does anything...

BEV: I thought Lysol was an anti-nits preparation from the 1950s..?!!

Yeah nectarines rule. They're named after the NECTAR they're full of... NECTAR-INE. Much nicer than our local peaches which are like damp toilet paper and sugar!

FALLEN ANGEL: it's weird you say line-dried clothes are not as fresh. Or to put it another way, clothes hung on a proper line seem to be far more fresh, they have this really nice fresh cottony smell. But drying indoors (because I have this enormous fold-out drying rack from Ikea) doesn't get them anything like as fresh, specially as I smoke all over them). Radiators get them OK fresh. Only time I have used a dryer in the past nearly 20 years was in the laundrette. + I noticed the washing machine I have at home gets things about x3 dryer than the laundrette machine... it's all in the name of ripping people off for 50p-a-time (that's about 80c) dryer money!

Your picnics sound really glamorous! I think the paper plates information came from an environmental article in the paper, which claimed that Americans (somehow) use up x3 the energy and resources per head that Europeans do. I find it hard to believe it's that much. The tumble-drying thing is weird though.

My late grandmother had an old spin-dryer in her kitchen. It splurged grey water into a bucket... and then she pegged her clothes out by the pea-patch...:-)

AKELAMALU: I've only applied aloe vera once, when someone gave me some cut off ends when I was a street beggar (can't remember what for tho (the cut-off ends that is: I know what I was begging for ;-)))

sеагching and wounԁ up hегe "Aloe Vera Fresh".
And I ԁo have somе questions for уоu if you ԁon't mind. Is it simply me or does it give the impression like some of the remarks come across like they are coming from brain dead individuals? :-P And, if you are writing at additional places, I would like to keep up with anything fresh you have to post. Ӏ think thаt everything composed maԁе a ton of sеnse.

Howevег, whаt about this? whаt if you werе to wгitе a κilleг
poѕt title? I аin't saying your information is not solid, however suppose you added a title that makes people desire more? I mean "Aloe Vera Fresh" is kinda plain. You ought to glance at Yahoo's home page and sеe how they crеate ρoѕt hеаdlines to get реoplе іntегested.
You might try aԁding a viԁeo oг a ρiсture or
