That bridge is right in Central London but it probably takes the best part of 5 mins to cross. The Thames isn't that wide as rivers go. Being a small island, we haven't got any huge great rivers here, so the Thames in London is probably a couple of hundred yards wide...
Yeah I just checked it: Westminster Bridge ~~ 252 metres/275 yards wide
